Hair Mask

Take 5 to 6 hibiscus petals and dry them under the sun for a few days. When dried completely, grind to a fine powder. To this powder, mix 2 tablespoons each of honey and yogurt along with 4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel.

Add enough coconut milk so that a smooth paste forms. Apply this paste on your hair and let it remain for half an hour. Wash off with warm water to get lustrous, strong and shiny hair, repeat once every week.

Hair Tonic

Take a hibiscus flower and 6 of its leaves and soak them in a glass of water for around 12 hours. Boil the leaves and flowers with the water for 10 to 15 minutes, strain well and rinse your hair with this water or tonic every day. You can also mix it with other hair packs or homemade pastes. You will get thick, shiny and soft hair with regular usage.

Hair Oil

Take around 10 hibiscus flowers and 5 of its leaves. Crush all of this and boil with half a cup of coconut oil. When it starts to boil add 3 to 4 basil leaves to it. Turn off flame and let the oil cool. Strain, apply and massage well on scalp.

Hibiscus can also prove to be of great help in curing dandruff. Crush a hibiscus flower along with 33 to 5 curry and basil leaves and a gooseberry. Take the juice that comes out of it and add half a cup of coconut oil to it. Boil this mix of oil and cool down completely. Apply on the scalp and massage gently. After 15 to 20 minutes, rinse it off. This will have a cooling effect on your head and reduce itching immensely.
