Hair loss is a universal subject of concern throughout the world and many people constantly keep trying to find “miracle portions”, which will stop hair loss. Here are some quick proven home- made remedies or treatments for hair loss.
Homemade Hair Loss Remedy
Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry is excellent for preventing hair loss. Cut some gooseberry into tiny pieces and dry them. Once dried, soak them in water overnight and heat these pieces in coconut oil till all the pieces are completely blended into the oil.
Massage this concoction into your scalp and let it remain on your head over night, if you can. Make sure the pillow you sleep on has a towel on it so that the oil does not get soaked into the pillow. Otherwise it will be very difficult to remove it from the pillow. Shampoo your hair the next day and as a last rinse use the water in which the amla was soaked.
Amla and Lemon Juice
Amla can also be used by mixing it with lemon juice in equal proportions and then massaging into the scalp on a regular basis. Try and do this at least twice or thrice a week and wash off in the morning.
Separate the yolk of an egg and massage it into your scalp with tiny rotating motions. Let it remain on your head for around 20 to 30 minutes after which you can rinse it out with luke-warm water. Do not use hot water on the head and also use a mild shampoo (twice if needed). Hot water makes your hair dry, frizzy and increases hair fall. Use cold water in summers and warm water in winters.
Essential oils like lavender, thyme and rosemary not only helps in hair loss, but cools and conditions the scalp. Massage with this combination of lavender, geranium, rosemary (3 drops each), plus 1 drop of frankincense and 2 drops each of cinnamon and juniper oil.
The right way to massage is to dispense one or two drops on your fingers, rubbing together and then massaging gently in rotating motions with your finger tips, daily. Grape seed oil, coconut oil, almond oil and vitamin E, are oils proven to benefit hair loss.
Onion juice (cut, ground and strained) is very effective for preventing hair loss and there has been noticeable re-growth of hair, in most of the cases. Although onion juice smells, you need to only leave it on for 20 to 30 minutes, before shampooing your hair.
Olive oil is not only a remedy against dandruff, but fights hair loss too as it removes bacteria from hair follicles and at the same time moisturizes and gives the hair root a healthy base to grow from.
Aloe Vera Extract
Aloe Vera extract is derived from the aloe vera plant leaves. It is a natural remedy for hair loss and helps by balancing the pH levels, cleaning up clogged pores and other damage done to the scalp.
It is non-toxic and very cooling and soothing for the scalp. Scalp stimulation and constant oiling of hair is the best way for strengthening, conditioning and preventing hair loss.
